Eyebrow Shaping for Guys - Tips from Orlando Santiago

Today’s man wants to put his best face forward. And that doesn’t just involve a clean shave or fresh skin. He wants to play up his features. One of the first facial features that gets noticed is the brow. Most men have full brows, that require regular grooming – no one wants that third eyebrow! Some men, however, could use a brow shape boost. A strong brow changes the shape of the face and can make eyes pop. The trick is selecting the right color and applying it the right way. In our recent seminar at The Makeup Show Dallas, MUA Orlando Santiago shared his tips on how to build a bolder male brow.  Create Volume  If a cut or scar is located in the brow, you can enhance volume with a pencil. Don’t simply draw in a brow – that would be too obvious. Create the illusion of volume by using the pencil to sketch in the missing “hair”.  Draw Depth If you have a brow that happens to be a bit sparse in areas, use some shadow to add dimension and depth to create the illusion of a fuller brow. Makeup Tips for Tired Eyes

Woke up looking like you didn't get enough sleep? Fake the requisite eight hours with these makeup tips designed to perk up tired eyes. Prep. Before applying any makeup, soften and hydrate the skin with a primer. This will give you a smooth canvas to work with. Try our Velvet Finish Primer , which contains powerful antioxidants to help increase production of collagen and minimize the appearance of fine lines and pigmentation. Color Correct. Don't just conceal dark circles, color correct them first utilizing the color wheel concept. If you have dark circles, correct them with Soft Peach or Fawn Pink from our  ProColorRing Neutralizer . Use Tawny Amber for blue toned under eye circles. Make sure you apply the product up to the lash line and in the inner corner. Conceal. After correcting, it's time to camouflage and conceal.
