Makeup Tributes to Beauty and the Beast








The animated Beauty and the Beast has long been an iconic Disney favorite that earned countless fans across the globe. The new live action version is now making records of its own. To date it has earned $750 Million worldwide. In just 13 days, it grossed over $341 Million in North America alone, making it one of the top 40 biggest grossing domestic films of all time! And the numbers of fans flocking to the theaters doesn't seem to be stopping. Fans of both movies are not just children. Across social media, we are seeing adult artists paying homage to the Disney fairy tale through incredible makeup looks created using Mehron products, particularly Paradise Makeup AQ, Metallic Powder, and Mixing Liquid.

The whole story revolves around a rose. If the Beast doesn't find love by the time the last petals fall, he will stay a beast forever. Will Belle be the love he finds? The enchanted objects in the castle hope so. Fans are paying tribute to the romance with pictorials of movie scenes and recreations of the beloved characters. Here are few looks we were drawn to.

Last weekend Mehron Girl Nicole Aspradakis did the brand proud at the European Bodypainting Festival, taking 6th place overall. The event, hosted in the picturesque Netherlands, was a summer bodypainting fairy tale. The artists worked outdoors under tents in a beautiful park amid a lush, green landscape. In this open air space, fans could watch over the artists' shoulders as they created their magic. Their art was then presented in a spectacular stage show. Nicole's creations brought powerful messages to life. In Round 1, themed Wonders of Nature, Nicole expressed her concern for ocean life.
