Our redesigned website, which we launched just a few days ago, has a section we are really excited about - In The Spotlight. Since our inception in 1927, we have believed in supporting the artistic community. They are the heart and soul of the makeup industry and inspire us each and every day. Throughout the years, we have called on artists for assistance with product development, welcomed their ideas and suggestions, turned to them for help in putting our best face forward, and asked these amazing MUAs to share their knowledge in seminars and workshops. To show our appreciation for their art and inspire others to create, we have added In The Spotlight. We are proud to introduce you to the first Spotlight artist - Danessa Myricks. She is the true essence of a Mehron Girl, a mentor, and inspiration. A makeup maverick, Danessa is a leading voice in the beauty industry. Incredible talent and trendsetting skills have made her one of the most sought after artists. Danessa's client list includes such names as Ciara, Madonna, Brittany Spears, Jordan Sparks and Chris Brown. Her understanding of complexions and position as one of the most prominent educators of Celebre in our industry, led us to select Danessa to head up the makeup team for the new faces of Celebre Pro HD campaign shoot. We recently caught up with Danessa to learn what inspires her creativity. Read In The Spotlight to find out.

The European Bodypainting Festival

Last weekend Mehron Girl Nicole Aspradakis did the brand proud at the European Bodypainting Festival, taking 6th place overall. The event, hosted in the picturesque Netherlands, was a summer bodypainting fairy tale. The artists worked outdoors under tents in a beautiful park amid a lush, green landscape. In this open air space, fans could watch over the artists' shoulders as they created their magic. Their art was then presented in a spectacular stage show. Nicole's creations brought powerful messages to life. In Round 1, themed Wonders of Nature, Nicole expressed her concern for ocean life.
