3 Super Easy Halloween Costume Ideas

Halloween is almost here. If you still don't know what you are dressing up as, we've got three super simple looks to inspire you - a magical unicorn, everyone's favorite Snapchat puppy filter, and the trending Harley Quinn. Yesterday we demonstrated how to create the looks during a live Facebook stream with Elle magazine. In case you missed us, we've pulled together the step-by-steps from makeup artist Shaina Eve for you to follow. For a live how-to, just watch the video from the event below.

Magical Unicorn

Unicorns are magical creatures, so for this look there is no such thing as too much glitter!

1. Start by pressing Teal Paradise Makeup AQ into the temple. Then bring it around to the front of the forehead. Work the Teal down the cheek in a patting motion. 
2. Dust Precious Gem Powder in Turquoise over the Teal Paradise Makeup AQ to create a glow.
3. Using a brush, apply a layer of Paradise Glitter in Aqua, then follow up by dabbing Paradise Glitter in White along the edge of the makeup.
4. Repeat the same steps on the collar bones and chest.
5. Apply Precious Gem Powder in Pearl as a highlighter down the bridge of the nose and the edge of the makeup.
6. Complement the makeup by adding Turquoise Precious Gem Powder and Aqua Paradise Glitter to the lids.
7. Complete the look with a touch of Glosstone in Pearl Frost to the lips followed with some Pearl Precious Gem Powder.

Snapchat Puppy - Everyone’s Favorite Filter!

1. For deep, sultry brown eye makeup, apply Precious Gem Powder in Tiger Eye to the lids.
2. Stencil the nose and snout using Brown E.Y.E Liner Pencil.
3. Fill in the snout shading with Paradise Makeup AQ in Dark Brown and Felou.
4. Paint the nose using Paradise Makeup AQ in Black.
5. Pop some Paradise Glitter in Black on the nose.
6. Slightly highlight the snout with Paradise Makeup AQ in White.
7. Outline the snout and create some dots using using Dark Brown and a detail brush.
8. Finish up with Natural Glosstone on the lips.

Harley Quinn

1. Create a base using White Paradise Makeup AQ, followed by skin tone complementary Celebré Pro HD shades.
2. For the blue eye, apply Paradise Makeup AQ in Dark Blue Brilliant as a base. Blend it in and bring it down from the lid to the cheekbone, getting as messy as you like. Then press on some iNtense Pro in Ignite overtop and blend out. Brush Brown E.Y.E Liner Pencil into the brows for added depth. Line the upper lash line with Black Paradise Makeup AQ. Line the lower lashes with the Black as well, then “mess” it up using a sponge. Apply a coat of Mascara PRO.
3. Follow the same steps for the pink eye, using Paradise Makeup AQ in Pink and iNtense Pro in Hot Pink. 
4. Create some bruises using a sponge and shades from the L.I.P Night Palette. 
5. Line the lips with L.I.P Liner Pencil in Brick, then fill in with L.I.P Cream in Raspberry. Using a sponge, drag the L.I.P Cream onto the face to create Harley’s signature messy look.
6. Draw a tiny heart using Black Paradise Makeup AQ.
7. Apply Celebré Pro HD Makeup in White down the center of the face.
8. Color the tips of the pony tails with Paradise Makeup AQ in Pink and Dark Blue Brilliant.
