Color Correcting at The Makeup Show Chicago


We'll be talking color at The Makeup Show Chicago next month. If you're an MUA in the windy city and its surrounding area, you won't want to miss the colorful events we have planned. Makeup artist Megan Hill Luman will be teaching our class Color Correcting Myths: How to Properly Use The Neutralizing Wheel. So many people cover up skin issues with a skin tone concealer without first correcting. The end result isn't always effective. Megan will demonstrate how you can camouflage breakouts, rosacea, sallow tones, and dark circles by applying a neutralizing color. You will learn how to choose the correct shade for each skin issue. The class is Saturday, November 12th at 3:45 in Seminar A. The show runs November 12th and 13th at Revel Fulton Market. Come visit us at booth D1.

New Celebré Pro Product Debut

Our Celebré Pro line is so popular, we just had to add on to it. And what better place to introduce a new product than at The Makeup Show. During Megan's color correcting class we will be DEBUTING the newest member to the Celebré Pro HD family - CORRECT-IT Corrector Neutralizer Palette, which will launch in January. A sneak peek of the colorful palette is below - come to the show and be one of the first to see it in person.


Megan Hill Luman has spent over 10 years making up brides and celebrities, such as Pamela Anderson, Kasey Musgraves, Victoria's Secret model Candace Swanepoel, Train, and the Goo Goo Dolls. Her work can be seen in Italian Vogue, Maxim, and GQ and on the television networks Style and Bravo. Megan's love of Mehron was instant and she has been representing the brand ever since. She is passionate about educating makeup artists and loves being part of the most creative industry in the world.

The European Bodypainting Festival

Last weekend Mehron Girl Nicole Aspradakis did the brand proud at the European Bodypainting Festival, taking 6th place overall. The event, hosted in the picturesque Netherlands, was a summer bodypainting fairy tale. The artists worked outdoors under tents in a beautiful park amid a lush, green landscape. In this open air space, fans could watch over the artists' shoulders as they created their magic. Their art was then presented in a spectacular stage show. Nicole's creations brought powerful messages to life. In Round 1, themed Wonders of Nature, Nicole expressed her concern for ocean life.
