Mehron Takes On IMATS Toronto


Oh, Canada! We had a blast in your beautiful city of Toronto last weekend at IMATS. This industry must-go-to show was hopping with pros and makeup lovers alike - and Mehron was ready to greet them. Our USA team partnered with our Canadian distributor, H.M. Smallwares, to bring the best of the best to the show, which included such top sellers as our Mixing Liquid, Metallic Powders, Precious Gem Powders, Paradise Makeup AQ, Velvet Finish Primer, and Celebre Pro HD line. We also had Canadian-native, and Paradise Makeup AQ co-creator, Jinny on hand to spread the Mehron love. Her demos shined the spotlight on just why bodypainters rely on Paradise Makeup for their art - its consistent efficacy, efficiency, payoff, and color.

Battle of the Brushes

IMATS Toronto also is host to Battle of the Brushes. This competition is open to students of recognized makeup schools and those who have graduated in the past 12 months. Categories include beauty/fantasy and character/prosthetic. Jinny helped judge the event along with its creator, Michael Key, who is an Emmy Award-winning makeup artist and publisher of Makeup-Artist Magazine. She can now add this contest to her list of judging events, which includes the World Bodypainting Festival and the North American Bodypainting Competition.

The European Bodypainting Festival

Last weekend Mehron Girl Nicole Aspradakis did the brand proud at the European Bodypainting Festival, taking 6th place overall. The event, hosted in the picturesque Netherlands, was a summer bodypainting fairy tale. The artists worked outdoors under tents in a beautiful park amid a lush, green landscape. In this open air space, fans could watch over the artists' shoulders as they created their magic. Their art was then presented in a spectacular stage show. Nicole's creations brought powerful messages to life. In Round 1, themed Wonders of Nature, Nicole expressed her concern for ocean life.
