2 Shows, 2 Coasts, 1 Weekend

We were busy last weekend spreading Mehron love from coast to coast. Our team packed up product, split from one team into two, and headed to Los Angeles and New Orleans.  Two trade shows in one weekend didn't intimidate us - or stop us from entertaining the crowds. Out west in the hub of film and television, we brought along California MUA and body painter Argenis Pinal to IMATS LA. The art he creates with Paradise Makeup AQ is out of this world - literally, since he is known for his comic book makeup art. His ability to transform himself and his models into comic book characters is simply amazing. A wizard with makeup, he has you questioning whether you are looking at a living person or an illustration. IMATS attendees definitely did a double take. 

The show was extra special, as it was IMATS LA's 20th year. We were thrilled to help them celebrate the milestone.

While we were out in LA, we popped in to visit our friends over at the Michael Vincent Academy, the largest professional makeup school in Los Angeles. Owner Tal Vincent gave us a behind the scenes tour, which we shared with everyone for our first ever Facebook Live. If you didn't catch us live, you can watch it now.

Down in New Orleans at the Halloween and Party Expo, Jinny wowed with her body painting. As the co-creator of Mehron's Paradise Makeup AQ line, there is no other artist with more knowledge of our of body makeup products. She demonstrated on her model Sindy Perez what you can do with some Paradise and creativity.

The European Bodypainting Festival

Last weekend Mehron Girl Nicole Aspradakis did the brand proud at the European Bodypainting Festival, taking 6th place overall. The event, hosted in the picturesque Netherlands, was a summer bodypainting fairy tale. The artists worked outdoors under tents in a beautiful park amid a lush, green landscape. In this open air space, fans could watch over the artists' shoulders as they created their magic. Their art was then presented in a spectacular stage show. Nicole's creations brought powerful messages to life. In Round 1, themed Wonders of Nature, Nicole expressed her concern for ocean life.
