Valentine Queen


In the hands of most, our Cupid's Crush collection would be used to create bold or flirty beauty looks. After all, this exclusive collection contains L.I.P Cream in red and pink hues, Precious Gem Powder in Garnet, Red Paradise AQ Glitter, and E.Y.E Lashes - the perfect makeup for a romantic evening or a fun night out with friends. When MUA Daryna Barykina got her hands on the collection, however, a totally different idea of what to do with the contents popped into her head. She envisioned a Queen of Hearts - followed by a Queen of Diamonds ... and a Queen of Clubs ... and a Queen of Spades. Here is a look at Daryna's House of Cards.


To create the Queen of Hearts' dripping eyes and lips, Daryna mixed Paradise AQ Glitter in Red, Precious Gem Powder in Garnet, and Glosstone Pro in Crystal Clear. As she mentioned in her Instagram post, you can clearly see Vlada Haggerty's influence in this look. The bold wing was created with iNtense Pro in Carbon. The base of the lip is L.I.P Cream in Valentine.


Queen of Clubs' eyes started with a base of L.I.P Cream in Valentine on the lids, followed with Red Paradise AQ Glitter. The black drip was created with mixture of Precious Gem Powder in Onyx and Glosstone Pro in Crystal Clear. The look is completed with Valentine L.I.P Cream.


For Queen of Spades, Daryna applied Red Paradise AQ Glitter on the lid. Beneath the eyes, she used a mixture of the glitter, Precious Gem Powder in Garnet, and Glosstone Pro in Crystal Clear. The lips are Precious Gem Powder in Onyx and Glosstone Pro in Crystal Clear. The look is topped by incredible hair placement!


And last, but not least, the Queen of Diamonds, which combines red and black eye makeup. The black makeup is Precious Gem Powder in Onyx mixed with Glosstone Pro in Crystal Clear. The red (for the eye and lip drip) is again the mixture of Precious Gem Powder in Garnet, Red Paradise AQ Glitter, and Glosstone Pro in Crystal Clear. On the lips is L.I.P Cream in Valentine and the glitter.

The European Bodypainting Festival

Last weekend Mehron Girl Nicole Aspradakis did the brand proud at the European Bodypainting Festival, taking 6th place overall. The event, hosted in the picturesque Netherlands, was a summer bodypainting fairy tale. The artists worked outdoors under tents in a beautiful park amid a lush, green landscape. In this open air space, fans could watch over the artists' shoulders as they created their magic. Their art was then presented in a spectacular stage show. Nicole's creations brought powerful messages to life. In Round 1, themed Wonders of Nature, Nicole expressed her concern for ocean life.
