The Makeup Show Orlando Rundown
The Makeup Show Orlando is always an amazing event. The energy felt from a floor full of makeup artists is simply intoxicating. Everyone’s desire to learn about, and share, new techniques and tips with those in the know is contagious. Our booth was packed with attendees looking for favorites and new products to try. We were excited to introduce the newest members of the Celebré Pro-HD family: Correct-It and Conceal-It. And what better way to kick off the introduction in the Sunshine State than with the incredible Bethany Townes. She taught our Correct-It and Conceal-It: The Ultimate Guide to a Flawless Face seminar - which was packed! Everyone wanted to learn more about these compact palettes that pack a powerful punch of color. If you didn’t make it to the show, don’t worry, we held a behind-the-scenes Facebook Live event, which you can watch below.
As you can see in the video, there’s no need to be intimidated by these new palettes. Bethany pointed out, and demonstrated, how fast they can neutralize skin issues. As a makeup artist for shows on MTV, BET, and VH1, as well as a fashion week MUA regular, Bethany needs to effectively - and quickly - get celebs and models ready for the camera and catwalk. Sometimes she must do several makeup changes in a short period of time, which can create redness. There’s no time to wait for the redness to calm down, and HD sees everything, so it is important to use the right makeup to cover it. She relies on Celebré to provide coverage for everyone on her shows because it works for all ages and skin types. The two new Celebré palettes boost her coverage options. As Bethany he pointed out, the Correct-It kit makes the redness disappear.
Here are some of Bethany’s neutralizing and concealing tips:
- Put the neutralizing color exactly where you need it.
- Use a brush or sponge, whichever you prefer.
- Don’t forget to apply product to your eyelids.
- There is no rule on how to apply concealer: because of Celebré’s texture you can use it before or after foundation.
- You can also use Conceal-It to highlight and contour.
- Create further coverage by pushing in Conceal-It.
- After you neutralize, bring life back to the face with a blush or bronzer.
- Use the colors in Correct-It as a blush.
